WORTH NEW YORK Fall 2014 Trunk Show
It’s that time of year again… my favorite season is finally here! The temperatures are dropping ever so slightly, the stores are stocking up on new fall fashions, my event calendar is getting a little more active… it’s Fall Fashion time people!
I’ve been to two trunk shows in the past few days and I’m planning on attending several more in the coming weeks… not to mention the absolute bombardment of fashion shows coming up in September (Stay tuned for more about that). Anywho, let me share with you the pictures from my recent visit to the WORTH NEW YORK Fall 2014 Trunk Show that was held at my friend Angier Miller’s home. My gal pal Denise Schultz and I had the best time shopping and modeling this fabulous collection. The pieces will only be there for a limited time, but Angier did let me know that she’s happy to give private and virtual showings to any interested buyers.
Rather than bore you with lots of words about how lovely the pieces look and how wonderfully they fit and how well-constructed they are and about how the quality and craftsmanship is superior to most, why don’t I just show you the pictures? Yes?
Behold…
If you love what you see and you’d like to schedule some time with WORTH New York Agency Owner Angier Miller to shop the Fall 2014 collection email her at amiller@worthnewyork.com. The pieces will be in Tampa, Florida until August 20th, but she can hook you up with more information about how to get the best looks for Fall!
P.S.- The gorgeous make-up for this shoot was provided by Arbonne. “What’s Arbonne?” you say… well, I’m so glad you asked. It’s no secret! I’ve been using the made-from-nature line for years and my skin has never looked better. If you’re into pure, safe, and beneficial skincare email me at michelle@runwaytranslator and I’ll be happy to tell you more about how you can get your hands on some free samples 🙂
That’s it for now! Be sure to keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest cuz it’s about to get fun around here!
We’ve Got Spirit, Yes We Do…
Are you a fashionable female with a penchant for football? Well good luck trying not to look like one of the boys on game day! For the gal who likes to show her team spirit without wearing a linebacker’s official jersey there aren’t a lot of stylish options on the market. When I saw this NFL ad in last month’s Vogue, I was instantly inspired…

Why not mix it up a bit? There’s no need to don your boyfriend’s jeans and sneakers just because you like to play armchair quarterback on the weekends. Capitalize on your femininity and win the trophy for best looking lady at the tailgate party! Take a couple official team pieces, like a fitted tee or hoodie and a ball cap, throw some silk drawstring pants and high heels into the formation, layer on a few pieces of bling-bling, and you’ve got a winning play!

Tory Burch Fall 2013- Runway to Reality…
Inspired by the works of artists Gustav Klimt and Rene’ Lalique, Tory Burch’s Fall collection is filled with rich textures and special details. With a palette of Art Nouveau florals and sensual velvets, Burch paints a fairy tale suffused with gilded romanticism. If the layering combinations are too opulent for your everyday style, try keeping it simple by pairing one powerful printed piece with complimentary solids and muted neutrals…

The Black Maxi Dress
This fashion staple will never, ever go out of style. Seasonless, ageless, and extremely versatile, a black maxi dress should be in your closet or on your list of must-haves. I recommend a nice modal or cotton jersey knit fabric that will stand the test of time and can play a casual or dressy role in your wardrobe’s cast of characters. Throw on a pair of sandals and a cropped cardigan for a simple daytime look. Add a colorful statement necklace and fun tote for that extra touch of style…

Sneaky Sneakers
street style photos: nytimes.com
One footwear trend that nearly escaped my clutches this season is the ever-popular sneaker wedges. With a hidden 2-3 inch wedge inside, these comfy and fashion-forward kicks are a welcomed alternative to my Converse Chuck Taylors. I just ordered the pair shown below from Aldo at Brandon Town Center and am anxiously awaiting their arrival! I love how they can be dressed up or down, depending on a few key complimentary pieces. To rock this trend simply pair a long blousy top with a pair of skinny pants and finish the look off with an oversized bag…

Friends With Benefits…
The benefits of having stylish friends are endless! First of all, they are my fashion plates, constantly serving as inspiration for my own personal style. It’s fun to hang out with like-minded gals who truly appreciate the art of dressing. My dear friend Denise Schultz recently posted this pic on her Facebook page and I was instantly drawn to the look… casual, yet elegant… comfortable, yet super chic! Though she appears to be wearing separates, it’s actually a gorgeous striped and cobalt blue maxi-dress she discovered at Nordstrom Rack in Tampa (one of my favorite spots to score designer duds at discounted prices). I found some great pieces online and put together my amped up evening version of this fabulous Spring/Summer look below…
