Tampa Bay Fashion Week 2016 Runway Shows
Zimmerman Spring 2014
I’m in the mood to post some pics from my new favorite designer for Spring. Check out these images from Zimmerman’s Spring runway presentation. This Australian label, known mostly for it’s innovative and stylish swimwear, made it’s New York Fashion Week debut back in September. I cannot wait for this collection to hit the stores. Here are my favorite looks from the show…

Swimsuits Now~ Retro Fit, Modern Print
(photo: wearehandsome.com)
My family and I just returned from a very relaxing pool-side vacation, so naturally I have swimwear on the brain. If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to dive into a new one-piece swimsuit. The trend has swept the runways and fashion-minded women are embracing this fun, yet sophisticated style. While I love the retro-inspired one-piece numbers shown all over the runways, I don’t want to look like I just popped out of a vintage Florida post card. I’m looking for something a bit more subtle. These printed versions bring a modern vibe to the classic swimsuit style…

“I Want It NOW!” -Veruca Salt
Here are a few picks from my list of absolutely required, can’t live without, gotta have it, need it to survive, “I Want It Now” necessities to enhance my wardrobe:
#1 Cream Oxford Flats
I can wear these with everything! Dresses, shorts, pants? YES! I love the neutral color and how the soft woven texture adds a feminine touch to this otherwise masculine style.
#2 Straw Fedora Hat
I am definitely a hat person, but you don’t have to be a connoisseur to enjoy this trend. Another piece that would go with just about every Spring ensemble in my closet. Gotta have it!
#3 Pinky Nude Nails
Coney Island Cotton Candy is my favorite OPI color. My nail tech can attest to this… I’ve been wearing it for years! Love it!
#4 Single Shoulder Swimsuit
The single shoulder trend was all over the runways this season and swimsuits were no exception. I love this one by Diane Von Furstenberg because it’s a great twist on the classic one-piece swimsuit.
Like Veruca Salt, my appetite (for fashion) is insatiable! I have many, many more must haves on my list for this season… which I will share in future blogs of course. Are there any pieces you’ve been dreaming about lately?
